Grand Island to Host U.S. Kids Golf Teen Series Event at Jackrabbit Run

Grand Island, Neb. — Regional youth golfers will have the opportunity to compete and qualify on the national stage as Grand Island gears up to host a two-day youth golf tournament at Jackrabbit Run Golf Course on Saturday, May 30 and Sunday, May 31.

The U.S. Kids Golf Teen Series Event will feature three age divisions:

* Girls 12-18
* Boys 12-14
* Boys 15-18

Participants must be between the ages of 12 and 18 as of May 15, 2026 to be eligible to compete. Tee times will begin on Saturday at 11 a.m., while Sunday tee times will be determined based on the size of the field, with a tentative start time of approximately 8 a.m.

In addition to tournament play, participants will have the opportunity to qualify for Regional and World competitions through this event, adding a competitive pathway for some of the region’s best golfers looking to advance their skills on a larger stage.

There will also be a variety of on-site activities and skill games to enhance the player experience throughout the weekend including a putting contest, a closest to the pin challenge themed around the United States 250th anniversary, and on-course contests and flag prizes such as longest drive and closest to the pin for all divisions.

Registration for the tournament is open, with an official deadline of May 27. Participants are encouraged to register early to ensure their spot in the event.
