McIntyre Wins World Title At Jr High Nationals

(Guthrie, OK) - Truett McIntyre and his partner Gavin Connell won the World Championship at the Classic Rope event during the Jr High Nationals in Guthrie, Oklahoma, on June 27, 2026, with a time of 7.37 seconds. McIntyre will be a freshman at Grand Island Northwest this fall. Partner Gavin Connell is from Thedford, NE. Connell plays the role of header, and McIntyre has the heeler responsibilities. 

Earlier in the spring, Truett's older sister, Reagan McIntyre, also found success at the Lazy E Arena, winning the 9.5 All-Star Team Roping title
